Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Electrical and Telecom Engineer specializing in underground Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) construction. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in telecom and power cabling, with a strong focus on trenching, ducting, and manhole installation.

Key Responsibilities

The engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising the installation of underground telecom and electrical infrastructure within the Dukhan Concession Area (DCA). This includes overseeing trenching operations, duct laying, and manhole works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in underground telecom and power cabling projects.
• Mandatory prior experience working within the Dukhan Concession Area.
• Practical skills in trenching, ducting, and manhole operations.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical and telecom site works.
• Valid sponsorship transfer is compulsory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of QatarEnergy or client-approved Permit to Work (PTW) certification.
• Certification in H2S awareness, fire safety, and other relevant safety training courses.
