Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Site Electrical and Telecom Engineer to join our team for underground Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with trenching, ducting, and manhole works, especially within the Dukhan Concession Area (DCA).

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of underground telecom and power cabling systems. Your duties will include managing site activities related to trenching, duct installation, and manhole setup to ensure the quality and safety of the construction work.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in underground telecom and power cabling projects
• Proven expertise working inside the Dukhan Concession Area (DCA)
• Hands-on skills in trenching, duct installation, and manhole operations
• Ability to manage PTW (Permit to Work) processes, preferably QatarEnergy/client-approved holders
• Valid certifications including H2S awareness, fire safety, and other relevant safety trainings
• Sponsorship transfer is mandatory for this position

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who hold QatarEnergy or client-approved PTW certification will be given priority. Strong knowledge of local safety standards and telecom engineering practices in Qatar is highly desirable.
