Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Midwife licensed by DHA or DOH to join a reputable healthcare team in the UAE. This full-time role is ideal for professionals passionate about providing outstanding maternity care, lactation support, and breastfeeding education. Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or within a month.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postnatal period. Duties include educating mothers on breastfeeding techniques and newborn care, conducting lactation assessments, and providing ongoing breastfeeding counseling. Monitoring the health of both mother and baby to ensure well-being is essential, along with maintaining accurate clinical records and adherence to DHA/DOH guidelines. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes is also a vital part of this role.
Required Skills and Experience
- Valid DHA or DOH license to practice as a Registered Midwife.
- Minimum of two years of midwifery experience within the UAE healthcare system.
- Strong expertise in lactation consultation and breastfeeding support.
- Comprehensive knowledge of antenatal, labor, delivery, and postnatal care protocols.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities to effectively support mothers.
- Availability for immediate joining or a notice period not exceeding one month.
