Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager for IT and Business Systems to oversee the daily management of both local and cloud-based infrastructure within SABCO Media’s environment. This key leadership role focuses on ensuring system stability, high performance, uptime, and security across all platforms. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will contribute to shaping the company’s IT strategy to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves directing IT strategies aligned with SABCO Communication Group’s business goals by collaborating with senior management and unit heads. You will plan, organize, and manage IT operations, including infrastructure development and technology implementations.

Managing on-premise and cloud business systems is critical, including Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, firewall security, backup and disaster recovery solutions, network devices, NAS storage, and digital asset libraries. Security standards and compliance audits must be maintained rigorously.

Supporting end users through efficient help desk services, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, conducting system configurations, and providing training forms a core part of the role. Maintaining communications and building infrastructure like EPABX telephone systems, access control, and fire safety systems will also be required.

The candidate will oversee the administration and customization of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics AX, and Dynamics CRM on the Azure platform, while ensuring seamless Office 365 administration and data backup protocols.

Additional responsibilities include managing data migrations, supporting digital media operations such as website CMS management, social media accounts, email marketing campaigns, and event-related ticketing systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technology
• Microsoft Certified Professional certification preferred
• Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management, cloud services, and enterprise applications
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP/CRM solutions and Office 365 environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance requirements simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT security and system optimization
• Experience supporting digital media platforms and social media analytics is advantageous

Work Environment and Reporting

This position entails working closely with the CEO and various department leaders to provide strategic IT guidance and operational support. The role demands a results-driven, self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
