Job Overview

We are urgently looking for a Senior Accountant who possesses solid experience in hospital or healthcare accounting to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This role demands immediate availability to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing financial operations within the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. The role also includes preparing accurate financial reports and working with hospital-specific ERP or HIS systems to streamline accounting tasks.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience specifically within a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong expertise in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, ledger management, and financial closing.
• Familiarity with hospital ERP/HIS systems will be considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with effective communication abilities.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or their equivalents will be advantageous and will enhance the candidate’s profile.
