Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in Jeddah. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those with up to two years of experience who are eager to develop their skills in accounting and financial reporting. The successful candidate will support daily financial operations and assist with month-end and year-end procedures in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording daily accounting transactions and maintaining comprehensive accounting records along with supporting documents. The role includes processing supplier invoices and customer receipts, as well as performing bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations. You will assist in the month-end and year-end closing activities, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and ensure proper filing of all financial documents. Additional duties assigned by management may also be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have up to two years of accounting experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Odoo, is a plus. Strong analytical abilities, good organizational skills, and effective communication in English are necessary. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. The ability to work efficiently and accurately within deadlines is crucial.
