Light Shine Energy is seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role involves managing the procurement process for materials and equipment essential to project success, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, budgets, and timelines within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Engineer will take charge of preparing and issuing Request for Quotations (RFQs), overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle from vendor engagement to contract finalization. Evaluating both technical and commercial bids will be critical to selecting reliable suppliers. The role demands active coordination with vendors and internal project and engineering teams to guarantee compliance with quality standards and timely deliveries. Negotiating pricing, contract terms, and maintaining comprehensive procurement documentation will also be core functions.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and have at least two years of practical procurement or materials management experience, specifically within the Oil & Gas industry. A deep understanding of procurement operations, contract negotiation, and vendor management processes is essential. Strong communication and negotiation skills are required, alongside proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP or procurement software tools.
