Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician for a full-time, temporary position lasting one month based in Bahrain. This role is ideal for an individual with hands-on experience in hardware and software support, eager to provide prompt technical assistance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive desktop and laptop support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems. You will also manage setup and maintenance of Microsoft Office and other essential business applications. Resolving network connectivity issues on LAN, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP settings is a critical part of this role. In addition, you will support peripherals such as printers and scanners, perform user account management and password resets, and diagnose hardware faults. Routine tasks will include installing antivirus software and applying Windows updates, along with providing on-site user support and maintaining detailed service records reported to the project supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by 1 to 2 years of practical IT support experience. Proficiency in Windows operating systems, network troubleshooting, and hardware issue resolution is essential. Strong communication abilities coupled with effective problem-solving skills are required to succeed. Candidates should be capable of working independently and efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 is advantageous but not mandatory.
