Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves maintaining and repairing diesel generators to ensure their reliable operation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a strong technical background in generator systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Generator Technician will be responsible for conducting both preventive and corrective maintenance on various diesel generator sets. Duties include diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults, performing routine inspections, testing, and commissioning of equipment. Additionally, the role requires troubleshooting control panels, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and associated systems while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. The technician will also prepare detailed maintenance reports and service documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in diesel generator maintenance
• Strong knowledge of generator engines, alternators, control systems, and ATS
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals accurately
• Effective troubleshooting abilities and strong communication skills
• Experience working with major generator brands is a plus
• Possession of a transferable Iqama is preferred
• A valid Saudi Arabian driving license is advantageous
