We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to lead all human resource functions within a dynamic food manufacturing and restaurant operation based in Dubai. This role demands a proactive leader who can effectively manage recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and staff development in line with the organization’s goals and UAE labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties that drive workforce planning, employee engagement, and operational excellence:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to manufacturing, production, logistics, and restaurant sectors.
  • Manage the entire hiring process from sourcing candidates to onboarding and induction.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to forecast manpower needs and build strong talent pools for critical roles.
  • Handle employee relations, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Administer probation reviews, confirmations, transfers, and terminations while adhering to company policies.
  • Guarantee full compliance with UAE labor laws, including visa and work permit administration in concert with PRO and government relations teams.
  • Prepare and present HR reports and strategic recommendations based on workforce metrics and analytics.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, including appraisals, KPI setting, and succession planning.
  • Design and implement targeted training programs focusing on food safety, hygiene, customer service, leadership, and compliance.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in HR management alongside practical knowledge tailored to the UAE market and food industry:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience within the UAE context.
  • Familiarity with the food manufacturing and restaurant sectors in the UAE is highly advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of UAE labor legislation and demonstrated ability to apply it effectively in HR practices.
  • Proven experience in managing UAE-specific HR operations, including compliance with labor inspections and visa processes.
