Job Overview

Besen Middle East Steel Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled Steel Structural Engineer to join their growing team based in Abu Dhabi, Kezad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering with experience in the UAE construction sector, particularly in steel structural design.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include performing structural analysis and designing various steel structures, preparing detailed structural drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and other technical documentation. The engineer will also coordinate closely with architects, MEP consultants, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met effectively. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, serviceability, and durability is a critical aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Between 3 to 10 years of relevant experience working within the UAE
• Possession of a valid Practicing Engineer Card (DMT)
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro software is mandatory
• Familiarity with US, British Standards (BS), or Eurocode steel design codes
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and practices
