Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting transactions, oversee invoicing, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping across various company operations. This role demands a professional capable of handling both accounting duties and administrative tasks to support efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining daily accounting entries related to deliveries, maintenance, and sales purchases. Preparing accurate, customer-specific invoices and ensuring timely dispatch and follow-up on outstanding payments are crucial parts of the job. The role also includes maintaining comprehensive sales and purchase records and submitting daily management information system (MIS) reports to management.

In addition, this position involves tracking vehicle maintenance and service records, managing employee visa, Emirates ID, and vehicle registration expiry dates, and processing employee salaries through the WPS system punctually. The candidate will also prepare and reconcile VAT and Corporate Tax records with bank transactions to ensure compliance with timely tax filings, maintain petty cash accounts, and monitor daily cash expenses.

Handling office administration, maintaining proper financial documentation, and liaising with banks, auditors, and government agencies as needed are essential. The accountant will also perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of accounting experience is required, with UAE experience preferred. Proficiency in VAT, Corporate Tax regulations, WPS salary processing, invoicing, and bank reconciliation is essential.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data entry and familiarity with accounting software will be expected. Good communication skills in English are mandatory, with additional knowledge of Hindi and Punjabi considered an advantage. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
