Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager with a strong background in civil or mechanical engineering and over five years of experience within Saudi Arabia. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure construction projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet scope requirements. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication to drive successful outcomes aligned with local industry standards and Saudi Arabia’s national development goals.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans that define clear objectives, timelines, and budgets. Day-to-day oversight involves coordinating execution, monitoring progress against milestones, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Effective management of resources, including internal teams and external vendors, is essential to optimize productivity. Financial stewardship includes meticulous budget management and cost tracking. The role also demands proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies to handle potential project challenges.

Communicating effectively with all stakeholders—team members, clients, and executive management—is critical for transparency and alignment. Adherence to company policies, local regulations, contractual obligations such as NEC4, and stringent health and safety standards is mandatory. The Construction Manager should apply digital project management tools like Microsoft Project and Smartsheet to streamline procurement, tracking, and reporting activities. Leadership duties include fostering a collaborative team culture, mentoring staff, and assisting in recruitment and professional development decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction management experience within Saudi Arabia, ideally in civil or mechanical engineering sectors
• Valid Iqama with at least three months remaining
• Proficiency with digital project management software and reporting tools
• Strong leadership abilities to effectively guide cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
• Knowledge of local compliance requirements, safety standards, and contract frameworks like NEC4
• Ability to manage budgets diligently and mitigate project risks
• Commitment to aligning projects with Saudi Vision 2030 and organizational strategic goals

Preferred Candidate Profile

Preference will be given to Pakistani nationals currently based in Riyadh or the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, who can provide all necessary engineering degrees, certifications, approvals, and experience documentation along with current and expected salary information.
