Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant specialized in International IT Risk and Governance to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role supports the Head of International IT Risk & Governance in implementing and maintaining IT governance frameworks across multiple global locations. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring IT risks are managed effectively and governance policies are consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for rolling out and reviewing IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures internationally. They will provide comprehensive guidance to global IT teams and coordinate efforts between local operations and international governance standards. Monitoring the remediation of IT risks and issues promptly and efficiently is a vital aspect of this role. Additionally, the consultant will develop IT Control Governance and Compliance self-assessment checklists, distribute them to international teams, and track their outcomes and performance trends regularly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computing, or a closely related field.
• Professional certifications in IT Service Management such as ITIL v3 Expert or ISO 20000 Lead Auditor.
• Certifications in IT Audit including CISA, ISO 20000 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer, or ISO 27000 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer.
• IT Governance certifications like COBIT5 Implementer or similar qualifications in CISA and COBIT5.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the banking sector.
• Proven expertise in IT Assurance, IT Audit, and IT Process Management.
• Knowledgeable about banking regulations and privacy requirements.
