Job Overview

Barq Al Mustaqbal Co. is looking for a skilled Planning Engineer to oversee scheduling and progress monitoring for their active construction projects in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves close coordination with project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. This includes preparing baseline programs, regular schedule updates, and recovery plans when necessary. The role also involves monitoring project progress, compiling weekly and monthly reports, and tracking resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment.

Collaboration is essential, as the engineer will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and various teams to analyze delays, prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience working on construction projects, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Excel for project scheduling and reporting.
• Strong understanding of project controls, planning methods, and construction reporting standards.
• Valid Saudi Iqama with transferable status (Naqal Kafala mandatory).
• Ability to join immediately.

Work Environment

This role is based in Tabuk and involves working within the construction and engineering sector. The position requires interaction with multidisciplinary teams to ensure contractual milestones are met efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.
