Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Group Financial Controller to oversee and direct all financial operations within a dynamic organization based in Al Ain. This role demands leadership in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, as well as maintaining stringent internal controls and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the group’s finance function, implementing effective budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, and monitoring cash flow efficiently. Additionally, overseeing VAT compliance and enhancing ERP system utilization and financial data analysis using advanced Excel skills will be integral parts of the role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA highly preferred
• At least 8 to 10 years of comprehensive finance and accounting experience
• Minimum of 3 years in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager capacity
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, VAT regulations, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities
• Prior work experience within the UAE market
• Experience within the transportation or logistics sector will be considered a distinct advantage
