Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations. The position offers a monthly salary of AED 8,000 and is open to candidates from all nationalities. Immediate joiners or those with a notice period no longer than one month will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s financial accuracy and compliance. Core duties include:

• Preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports to reflect accurate business performance.
• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Performing bank reconciliations and handling month-end and year-end closings efficiently.
• Ensuring full compliance with UAE VAT laws and other statutory requirements.
• Assisting with budgeting processes, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis.
• Collaborating with auditors to support audits and ensure transparency.
• Monitoring cash flow and maintaining precise financial records to support informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• At least 2 years of accounting experience within the UAE market, which is mandatory for the position.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication.
• The capability to work independently while managing deadlines efficiently.
