Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Plant Operator specialized in the operation and maintenance of air conditioning plants (AC Plant), sewage treatment plants (STP), and building management systems (BMS). This full-time position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering a stable, long-term career opportunity with a reputable employer. Candidates must have a strong background in municipal wastewater treatment as well as water and utility systems management.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and maintenance activities of municipal wastewater treatment plants and related utility systems. This includes:

  • Monitoring plant operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Managing and directing the operation of raw water and drinking water systems.
  • Maintaining equipment and control systems within the water and wastewater plants.
  • Applying a sound understanding of physical, chemical, and biological processes involved in water and wastewater treatment.
  • Performing routine laboratory procedures to assess water quality and plant efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Diploma or Trade Certificate from a recognized Vocational Training Unit, accompanied by comprehensive apprenticeship training. Proven hands-on experience in operating and maintaining municipal wastewater treatment plants and/or water treatment facilities is essential. Candidates should demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of treatment plants, including equipment operation, process control parameters, and relevant laboratory techniques.
