A reputable construction company based in Doha is seeking a skilled Document Controller with 5 to 7 years of experience, specifically within the Qatari construction sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project documentation for building construction, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth communication between project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The Document Controller will be responsible for organizing and maintaining critical project documents. This includes managing RFIs, submittals, transmittals, drawings, and correspondence logs. They will coordinate the document flow between engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and other teams to ensure timely approvals and updates. Maintaining version control and applying document numbering systems accurately will be essential to this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience with document management systems such as Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Ashghal and QCS 2014 documentation standards is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications and PDF editing tools.
• Excellent organizational skills alongside a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
• Comprehensive understanding of document control processes including version tracking and numbering.
