Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled UAT Manager to join a prominent bank based in Abu Dhabi. This role demands a strong background in the banking sector, particularly with experience in Trade, Global Markets, Supply Chain Finance, or Banking Channels. Candidates with expertise across multiple banking domains are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The UAT Manager will oversee the entire User Acceptance Testing phase, ensuring thorough defect management and clear communication with all stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

• Leading defect management activities using tools such as HP ALM or Jira
• Participating in working committee groups and senior management review meetings to convey project status, highlight issues and risks, and propose effective mitigation strategies
• Analyzing defects raised during UAT to distinguish between genuine defects and change requests
• Coordinating regression testing to balance the interests of UAT vendors and country or head office stakeholders, ensuring seamless continuity of Business As Usual (BAU) operations

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive knowledge of the banking domain, including Trade, Global Markets, Supply Chain Finance, and Banking Channels
• Familiarity with the operational and functional processes specific to Middle East, APAC, and Asian banking markets, including reconciliation and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools, especially HP ALM and Jira
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate defects and change requests effectively
• Excellent communication skills to engage with senior management and cross-functional teams
