Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive HR Coordinator based in Bahrain to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing recruitment, employee onboarding, compliance with Bahrain labour laws, and general HR administration. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure smooth and efficient HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Coordinator will handle a variety of tasks, including:
- Managing the full recruitment cycle by preparing job advertisements, posting on platforms such as Indeed, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and organizing assessments.
- Drafting offer letters and employment contracts, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.
- Conducting thorough onboarding and employee induction processes, ensuring all documentation and records in the HR Information System (HRIS) are complete and accurate.
- Maintaining and updating employee files both digitally and physically, ensuring alignment with HR policies and Bahrain labour law.
- Supporting work permit and visa documentation processes and liaising with government authorities as necessary.
- Responding to employee inquiries and providing general HR support.
- Preparing detailed HR reports on recruitment status, attendance, leave, and other key metrics.
- Assisting with performance management procedures, training coordination, and other HR projects as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in HR administration, particularly in recruitment coordination, onboarding, and documentation management.
- Strong knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law, HR compliance procedures, and government-related processes such as LMRA and work permits.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written; Arabic proficiency is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
