We are seeking a dedicated Accountant and Administrator to join a prominent restaurant group in Bahrain. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in accounting and administration, particularly those familiar with the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and payments. You will conduct bank, cash, and payment gateway reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. Maintaining proper documentation and supporting records is essential, alongside aiding in monthly financial closings and reporting activities. Additionally, you will support inventory management and cost control functions as needed.

Administrative tasks play a critical role, including managing correspondence, filing, and document organization. Coordination with suppliers, government agencies, and service providers will be required to facilitate smooth operations. Ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance with Bahrain’s regulations is a must.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of three years’ relevant experience is required, with prior exposure to the food and beverage or restaurant sector considered a strong advantage. Proficiency in accounting software is expected, with experience using Odoo ERP preferred. Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and Office are essential for this role.

Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills are vital. The role demands the capability to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines efficiently, and work independently within a fast-paced environment.
