Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves analyzing project requirements and drawings to develop thorough cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment related to mechanical projects such as HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in estimation software to ensure accurate and competitive project bids.
Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Estimation Engineer will be responsible for:
- Reviewing tender documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare both technical and financial proposals for mechanical projects.
- Performing precise quantity take-offs to calculate material and labor requirements for various mechanical systems.
- Conducting detailed cost analysis by sourcing and evaluating quotations from vendors and subcontractors to identify cost-effective solutions.
- Assessing potential project risks and including appropriate contingencies in cost estimates.
- Coordinating closely with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure that estimates correspond with project scopes and site-specific considerations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical estimation within construction or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with quantity take-off processes and cost estimation methodologies.
