Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in Bahrain. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of accounting principles and be comfortable working with accounting software and Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry and record maintenance
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers
- Handle petty cash management and track expenses diligently
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documents
- Assist in payroll processing when necessary
