Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database Expert to join a prominent bank in Abu Dhabi. This role blends technical expertise with functional knowledge to support the bank’s integration initiatives and data management efforts. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in analyzing data landscapes and delivering efficient data extraction and mapping solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across multiple systems within the bank’s integration program. Responsibilities include:

• Analyze and understand the current banking data environment and system interactions.
• Develop and maintain data mapping exercises to ensure data reconciliation and integrity.
• Create and deliver extraction scripts tailored to various data instances, ensuring compliance with required formats.
• Upgrade, configure, and debug existing database systems to enhance performance and reliability.
• Provide ongoing technical support for desktop, web applications, and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to meet data requirements and project objectives.
• Document procedures and development steps throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and integration issues efficiently.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Unix environments and scripting.
• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization.
• Solid knowledge of Java scripting.
• Advanced SQL Server query writing and optimization skills.
• Expertise in Oracle Query development.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
