We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented receptionist to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and organized experience while supporting daily office operations. Key Responsibilities
The receptionist will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors both in person and over the phone, managing the switchboard, and notifying appropriate personnel about visitor arrivals. Maintaining security protocols by monitoring visitor logs and issuing badges is essential. The role also includes organizing and maintaining employee directories, handling office supply inventory, and coordinating necessary office maintenance.
Additionally, the receptionist will ensure the reception area is clean and complies with company policies, support team communication by documenting important information, and contribute to a positive work environment by working collaboratively with colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should bring a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is mandatory, as is excellent verbal and written communication ability. A diploma in administration or secretarial studies is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills, customer focus, and the ability to manage challenging situations with good judgment are critical to success. Familiarity with visitor management systems is considered an advantage.
