Job Overview

Metichem Water Solutions is seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves managing the import and export operations, coordinating inventory flow, working closely with freight forwarders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials critical to supporting water treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the logistical aspects of the supply chain, ensuring smooth coordination of shipment processes and compliance with customs regulations. Key duties include:

• Coordinating import and export activities efficiently
• Managing inventory movement and stock levels
• Liaising with freight forwarders and service providers to guarantee timely deliveries
• Monitoring shipment schedules and resolving any logistical issues
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant customs and import/export procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in logistics or supply chain roles
• Preferably with experience in the Water Treatment industry
• In-depth understanding of import/export documentation and customs compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP software
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
• Legal eligibility to work in Qatar
