We are seeking experienced Mechanical, Electrical, and ELV Engineers to join a prominent MEP project based in Riyadh City. This project demands skilled professionals to ensure seamless technical integration and coordination across multiple disciplines, contributing to the success of a large-scale engineering venture.
MEP Project Engineer (Lead Coordinator)
The MEP Project Engineer will serve as the key technical liaison between the Project Manager and the various discipline engineers. This role requires an individual capable of managing the integration and coordination of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV services to achieve flawless BIM coordination and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate among HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, and ELV teams to prevent clashes in BIM models and on-site workflows.
- Supervise the Material Submittal Schedule to ensure timely approvals and availability.
- Lead technical meetings with clients and consultants to align project objectives.
- Oversee Testing and Commissioning plans and consolidate all “As-Built” documentation accurately.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in MEP projects with at least 3 years in a coordination or leadership capacity.
- Strong familiarity with international standards such as NFPA, SMACNA, UPC, and SBC.
Mechanical Engineer (HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting)
This position focuses on supervising the installation and pre-commissioning of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire fighting equipment. The engineer will ensure compliance with Civil Defense requirements, particularly in fire suppression systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of chillers, AHUs, ducting, and plumbing systems including water supply and drainage.
- Manage installation and pre-commissioning of UL-listed fire pumps and sprinkler networks aligned with Civil Defense standards.
- Oversee subcontractors specializing in fire suppression systems such as FM-200 and Clean Agent solutions.
- Calculate pump head, pipe sizing, and duct static pressure adjustments in response to site modifications.
- Prepare submittals and supervise AutoCAD draftsmen in creating accurate shop drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in MEP construction, with demonstrated expertise in fire fighting systems and Civil Defense inspections.
Electrical Engineer (Power & Lighting)
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing the installation and commissioning of electrical power and lighting systems on the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of LV switchgears, transformers, MDBs, and SMDBs.
- Oversee cable laying, tray installation, and terminations for power and lighting circuits.
- Coordinate the “Power-On” sequence with the local utility provider and main contractor.
- Ensure that all electrical containment work for ELV systems is installed according to the coordinated drawings.
- Prepare submittals and guide AutoCAD drafting for shop drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience on large commercial or industrial electrical projects.
- Proficient in load schedules, voltage drop calculations, and LUX level verifications.
ELV Engineer (Systems & Integration)
The ELV Engineer will focus on the supervision and integration of low-voltage systems, ensuring seamless functionality and coordination with other building systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation and configuration of BMS, CCTV, Access Control, and ICT/Data networks.
- Manage integration of Fire Alarm systems with HVAC smoke management and elevator controls.
- Supervise the setup of the Server Room (MDF/IDF), ensuring optimal environmental conditions such as cooling and dust control prior to equipment installation.
- Lead software programming efforts and conduct final system integration testing.
- Prepare submittals and supervise AutoCAD draftsmen for producing detailed shop drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Communications, or Electrical Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of focused experience in ELV or low voltage systems.
- Certifications from recognized industry providers such as Cisco, Honeywell, or Milestone are advantageous.
