Job Overview

We are currently looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant specializing in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. This role requires managing comprehensive financial operations, ensuring precise cost analysis, inventory accuracy, and timely reporting within a dynamic, high-volume setting. The position offers a salary package starting at 3000 SAR plus accommodation and transportation benefits. Only applicants from Pakistan, India, and the Philippines will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing cost accounting and margin analysis by monitoring Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), manufacturing variances, and distribution expenses.
• Analyzing profitability across product lines, brands, and sales channels to support decision-making.
• Managing inventory and stock control, including reconciling physical counts with ERP records and handling provisions for slow-moving or expired goods.
• Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including managing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
• Overseeing accounts receivable and payable by monitoring vendor payments, trade discounts, promotional rebates, and reconciling distributor and retailer accounts timely.
• Ensuring compliance with VAT/Sales Tax regulations, corporate tax requirements, and facilitating internal and external audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, including 1-2 years in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel along with hands-on experience using ERP systems such as Odoo.
• Deep understanding of standard costing methods, handling large data volumes, and strong commercial insight.
