Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee, espresso, and other beverages while ensuring every customer feels welcomed and valued. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

The barista’s main duties include preparing and serving various coffee drinks, teas, and beverages with attention to quality and presentation. You’ll accurately take orders and manage cash or POS transactions efficiently. Maintaining cleanliness of all workstations, equipment, and customer areas is essential to provide a pleasant environment for guests. Additionally, you will assist with restocking supplies, support inventory management, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Your role will also involve assisting with opening and closing tasks and responding professionally to any customer inquiries or concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Prior experience as a barista or in customer service is preferred, though training will be provided. Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to engage customers and work effectively within a team. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is important. The position requires standing for extended periods, the ability to lift light to moderate items, and maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Additional Competencies

Attention to detail and excellent time management skills are key to handle multiple orders during busy periods. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced coffee shop setting will contribute greatly to your success in this role. Moreover, a valid transferable visa (Article 18) is required to comply with employment regulations in Kuwait.
