Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join our team for an important project based in Riyadh. This role requires a focused, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in mechanical quality assurance and control, particularly in areas such as HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and piping systems. Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer, your main duties will include:

• Overseeing quality control by inspecting mechanical works and ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards such as ASME, ASTM, and NFPA.
• Managing documentation processes, including the preparation and review of Material Submittals, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
• Conducting routine site inspections to monitor progress and verify that installations align with approved drawings and maintain rigorous quality standards.
• Identifying non-conformances, coordinating corrective action plans, and ensuring timely resolution to achieve a zero-defect project delivery.
• Witnessing and certifying mechanical testing activities such as pressure tests, leak tests, and equipment startup procedures.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Between 5 and 7 years of experience in mechanical QA/QC roles, preferably on large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Currently residing in Riyadh with a practical understanding of local construction site conditions and regulatory frameworks.
• Possession of professional certifications such as CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI (Welding) and ASNT Level II is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and operate relevant testing tools and equipment.

Interview Process
