Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Data Scientist to lead and innovate within our data science team in Lahore. This senior role involves managing complex data science initiatives and guiding a team of specialists to deliver high-impact solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision making and fostering strong client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

As Chief Data Scientist, you will oversee the complete data science lifecycle from data mining to model deployment. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading data collection and mining processes to extract valuable insights.
• Helping clients solve complex problems by framing challenges, preparing data, building and deploying models, and managing outputs.
• Testing and validating the performance of data-driven products to ensure excellence.
• Managing multiple data science projects while aligning with the customer’s vision for success.
• Building and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships with clients to guide them toward measurable success.
• Supervising a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and big data specialists, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in a senior data science or related position.
• Strong proficiency with R, Python, and MATLAB programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Excellent organizational abilities paired with effective leadership skills to manage and inspire a technical team.
• Advanced problem-solving skills with a strategic focus on client outcomes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data science or a comparable field. A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline is highly preferred to match the technical depth and leadership level required for this role.
