Job Overview

AAMCON Industrial Services Co. is inviting qualified candidates for the role of Rigger Level 1 for a non-Aramco project based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This long-term opportunity involves hands-on rigging work with a focus on heavy and critical lifts within oil, gas, petrochemical, or EPC environments.

The recruitment process includes a practical test on MS Excel and MS Word, followed by a face-to-face interview. Candidates must bring their own laptop to complete the computer-based test.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret lift plans accurately to ensure safe rigging operations
• Calculate load weights, center of gravity (COG), and sling angles for lifts
• Analyze crane load charts to determine capacity and safe lift parameters
• Select appropriate rigging hardware and equipment for each lifting task
• Supervise heavy and critical lifts exceeding 40 tonnes, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Coordinate tandem lifts effectively to maintain safety and efficiency
• Prepare rigging plans using AutoCAD software for project execution
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports related to rigging activities

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in rigging within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects
• Strong practical knowledge of rigging techniques and load handling
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, essential for the initial assessment test
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and crane load charts
• Experience in heavy lifts and tandem lifting operations
• Competence in AutoCAD for rigging plan development
• Attention to detail and strong commitment to safety compliance
