Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal Design Engineer to contribute to projects within the Oil & Gas industry in Riyadh. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in thermal design, heat exchanger analysis, and troubleshooting to support complex engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves selecting, sizing, and performing thermal design calculations for heat exchangers using industry-standard software such as HTRI. You will optimize material selection and design approaches to enhance equipment performance while addressing vibration issues through effective analysis and mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will evaluate heat exchanger operations under diverse conditions and ensure compliance with ASME and TEMA codes.

Required Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of experience in thermal engineering with a focus on heat exchanger design and performance assessment
• Proficiency in heat exchanger selection, sizing, and thermal design using HTRI
• In-depth knowledge of vibration analysis and solutions
• Familiarity with ASME and TEMA design codes and standards
• Strong troubleshooting skills to address operational challenges

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas sector, including petrochemical projects, will be prioritized. Experience working within EPC project environments and handling Saudi Aramco projects and their technical specifications is highly desirable.

Equipment Expertise

The ideal applicant will have hands-on experience with a variety of heat exchange equipment, including Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Thermosyphon Reboilers, Kettle Reboilers, Sulphur Condensers, Waste Heat Boilers, Plate Heat Exchangers, and Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers.
