Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tendering and Estimation Engineer to manage the full tendering and cost estimation process for EPC projects in civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. This role involves handling everything from RFQ review to proposal submission, supporting a dynamic startup environment focused on civil works, coating and painting, and facility management projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing project documentation such as RFQs, drawings, and scopes of work. They will prepare bills of quantities (BOQs), carry out quantity take-offs, and develop detailed cost estimates. Collecting and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors will be essential, along with preparing both technical and commercial proposals. The engineer will collaborate closely with management on pricing strategies, ensure timely bid submissions, and maintain tender records, cost data, and vendor information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in tendering or estimation roles is required, alongside solid expertise in BOQ preparation and cost analysis. Proficiency in Excel is essential for efficient data handling and estimation tasks.

Preferred Attributes

Experience across multiple scopes, including civil, electrical, mechanical, coating, and maintenance projects, will be considered a significant advantage. The ability to work independently, manage various tasks simultaneously, and basic knowledge of procurement and vendor coordination are highly desirable qualities.
