Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Fire Fighting Design Engineer with extensive experience in designing fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complying with NFPA and SBC standards, along with hands-on experience in sea water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), or sewage treatment plants (STP).

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating water demand, sizing pumps and tanks, and performing detailed hydraulic calculations to ensure effective fire fighting system designs. You will apply your knowledge to create accurate and efficient layouts that adhere to industry regulations and project requirements.

Required Skills

• Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in fire fighting system design
• Thorough understanding of NFPA and SBC fire protection standards
• Strong ability to perform water demand calculations, pump and tank sizing, and hydraulic assessments
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, essential for technical documentation and collaboration
• Leadership and teamwork capabilities with the ability to manage tasks independently under pressure
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Knowledge of Chinese or Arabic languages is advantageous but not mandatory

Additional Requirements

Applicants should be willing to work in Saudi Arabia and adapt to the professional environment there. Prior experience in the design and execution of water treatment facilities will be considered a strong asset.
