Job Overview
We are seeking a driven Sales Engineer / Business Development Lead to join our team in Jeddah. This role involves identifying growth opportunities and managing relationships with customers, contractors, and consultants in the industrial sector, with a focus on technical sales and project development. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in sales cycles, client engagement, and team leadership within the fabrication or gratings industries.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for both business development and sales management functions, including:
- Identifying and cultivating new customers, contractors, EPC companies, consultants, and industrial clients to expand market share.
- Visiting markets regularly and conducting meetings to establish and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
- Monitoring upcoming projects to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Managing the entire sales process from enquiry and technical discussions through quotation, negotiation, and order closure.
- Consistently achieving monthly sales targets while maintaining an active and robust sales pipeline.
- Following up on quotations to convert leads into confirmed orders and preparing sales forecasts and opportunity trackers.
- Coordinating with the estimation team to analyze enquiries, ensure timely submission of technical and commercial quotations, and maintaining accurate enquiry and quotation records.
Required Skills and Experience
- A degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably dealing with industrial products related to fabrication or gratings.
- Proven experience in the Saudi market and working with contractors, EPC firms, and industrial sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to develop markets independently and demonstrate team leadership capabilities.
