Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled QC Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in inspecting and testing electrical and instrumentation installations, especially in Oil & Gas or heavy industry settings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who ensures projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of cable laying, terminations, tray installations, grounding systems, and lighting setups.
• Witness and verify critical testing activities including insulation resistance, continuity, loop checks, and calibration of instruments such as transmitters and valves.
• Maintain up-to-date quality documentation by preparing inspection reports, updating as-built drawings, and managing punch-list tasks.
• Ensure strict adherence to Approved Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and client specifications during all inspection processes.
• Identify and report any non-conformances by issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions to resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with construction teams, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution and quality compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in Electrical & Instrumentation construction, preferably within Oil & Gas or other heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) installations, switchgear, PLC systems, DCS, and hazardous area equipment.
• Familiarity with key international standards and codes such as IEC, NEC, IEEE, and ATEX regulations.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent technical certifications.
