Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a strong background in banking IT systems, with extensive knowledge of Java technologies and e-channel applications. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in Internet and mobile banking platforms, ensuring robust and seamless integration with core banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internet banking and mobile banking applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the functionality and technical needs of e-channel systems including websites, SMS, and IVR platforms. Ensuring smooth integration between these channels and core banking systems will be a primary focus of this role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Java, J2EE technologies, and scripting languages including UNIX and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with MS-SQL and Oracle databases (versions 11/12).
• Solid understanding of web development frameworks such as Servlets, Struts, EJB, JAX-WS, JSP, 5, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET.
• Experience integrating e-channel systems like Internet banking, mobile banking (Kony platform preferred), SMS, and IVR with core banking applications.
• Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant banking IT experience, focusing on both technical and functional support roles.
• Knowledge of Finacle E-banking and the Kony platform is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with prior exposure to banking applications and channel system integration will be given preference. Familiarity with Finacle and Kony platforms brings added value to this position.
