Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our expanding team. This role involves overseeing procurement activities, managing supplier relations, and ensuring that all necessary materials are procured on time to support smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for coordinating and executing procurement tasks, including sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing purchase orders. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to align purchasing with inventory needs, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate procurement documentation. Additionally, the candidate will assist with optimizing procurement processes and contribute to cost reduction efforts while supporting logistics functions as needed.

  • Coordinate procurement to ensure timely acquisition of materials and supplies.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier records and monitor their performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to determine material and inventory requirements.
  • Track deliveries to guarantee on-time receipt of goods.
  • Monitor stock levels and contribute to inventory management planning.
  • Organize and keep procurement-related paperwork, including invoices and delivery documentation.
  • Support initiatives to streamline procurement procedures and reduce operational costs.
  • Assist in supply chain and logistics operations as required.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have between one to four years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination, preferably within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Retail, or Hospitality sectors. Familiarity with supplier management and purchasing workflows is essential. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus. Strong negotiation skills, clear communication, and proficiency in Excel for reporting are important to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements and Preferences

Applicants currently residing in Saudi Arabia are preferred. Holding a transferable Iqama is an advantage. Immediate availability will be highly regarded during the selection process.
