Job Overview

Axis Construction Company (ACC) is inviting applications from Saudi nationals for the role of Graduate Engineering Trainee specializing in Electrical and Civil Engineering. This full-time, on-site position is based in Riyadh and Al Qassim and aims to provide fresh graduates or individuals with up to two years of experience an opportunity to launch their careers in the construction industry. Trainees will gain practical experience by working closely alongside skilled engineers on active construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will support senior engineers in managing on-site construction activities, including:

• Assisting in supervising electrical and civil works to ensure smooth project execution
• Participating in site inspections and monitoring daily progress
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and relevant documentation
• Preparing project reports, maintaining records, and handling documentation tasks
• Coordinating effectively with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project requirements
• Supporting project planning, scheduling, and execution efforts
• Engaging in structured training sessions and ongoing professional development

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering. Both recent graduates and candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Essential skills and qualifications include:

• Basic understanding of construction practices, engineering principles, and site operations
• Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD is preferred
• Strong communication capabilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Availability to work on construction sites located in Riyadh and Al Qassim
• Saudi citizenship is mandatory for this position
