Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Lead Risk, Reliability, and Maintenance Specialist to join a prominent energy program focused on enhancing risk management, reliability, and maintenance strategies across operational brownfield assets. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of driving improvements in a project management team (PMT) aligned environment within the oil and gas sector.

Based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, this long-term consulting assignment is primarily office-based with occasional site visits to key operational facilities. Our client, a leading energy operator, is dedicated to industry best practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and oversee project risk management activities, ensuring accurate maintenance of risk registers.
• Facilitate and guide risk workshops involving project management, engineering, and operations teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving asset reliability and advancing maintenance strategies.
• Support Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) processes, and contribute to effective maintenance planning.
• Ensure all activities and procedures comply with Aramco-style standards, workflows, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership across the domains of risk management, reliability engineering, and maintenance.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in risk, reliability, and maintenance roles within the oil and gas or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project environments.
• Well-versed in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), maintenance strategy development, and preventive maintenance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
