Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Electrical, Instrumentation, and Piping Engineers for an urgent long-term project based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This opportunity is open exclusively to candidates currently residing in Qatar, who bring a solid background in oil and gas or petrochemical construction and commissioning.

The project demands dedicated professionals prepared to work six days a week, with typical hours from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical and Instrumentation Engineers will be responsible for overseeing the completion of systems and sub-systems, interpreting complex engineering and wiring drawings, and managing critical project documentation such as punch lists and inspection test records. They must effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders including workforce teams, quality control personnel, and clients throughout the construction site.

Piping Engineers will handle similar duties, focusing on the analysis and interpretation of spool isometric and P&ID drawings. They will be expected to prepare system packages, generate redline markups, manage site change requests, and collaborate closely with all parties involved to ensure smooth project execution and completion.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in an Engineering discipline related to the field.
• A minimum of five years’ relevant experience within oil and gas or petrochemical construction and commissioning.
• Proven ability to read and interpret various engineering drawings and documentation appropriately.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate punch list closures and inspection test records with stakeholders.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

Work Schedule and Benefits

Workdays are from Sunday to Friday, six days per week, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The company will provide necessary FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) support. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
