Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Cost Estimator with a mechanical engineering background to join a reputable signage company in Riyadh. This mid-career opportunity is ideal for professionals with at least three years of experience in cost estimation. The position offers immediate hiring with sponsorship transfer available for eligible candidates. The role is open exclusively to Sri Lankan nationals aged between 22 and 35.

The monthly salary ranges from 3500 to 4500 SAR, with additional benefits including company-provided accommodation, transportation to the worksite, and medical insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate cost assessment and project evaluation. Responsibilities include:

• Performing engineering assessments and preparing detailed cost estimates.
• Conducting on-site evaluations across Saudi Arabia to gather project data.
• Implementing value engineering strategies to optimize costs.
• Engaging in process evaluation, cost re-engineering, and value analysis to improve efficiency.
• Researching and developing products while assessing materials for project requirements.
• Handling technocommercial activities relating to projects.
• Preparing detailed cost breakdowns for daily incoming inquiries and quotations.
• Coordinating with sales teams to provide timely responses to Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
• Planning procurement activities and generating detailed material forecasts.
• Developing structured Bills of Materials (BOM) and Bills of Lading (BOL) for project-based jobs, along with monitoring and compiling cost analyses.
• Providing technical assistance and support to sales executives and liaising with customers directly.
• Evaluating vendors and contributing to overall cost reduction initiatives.
• Carrying out additional assignments as directed by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in cost estimation, preferably in construction, signage, or related industries.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost evaluation.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with sales teams and vendors.
• Ability to conduct site visits and assessments across various locations in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in preparing comprehensive cost estimates, BOMs, and forecasts.
