White Aluminium Enterprises LLC is seeking a skilled General Accountant to join their Accounts and Finance Department within the Glass Division in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is essential for managing daily financial activities, ensuring precise record-keeping, and supporting compliance with both company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive financial records, including ledgers and journals, and accurately recording daily transactions. This position involves handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts, as well as processing payroll on a monthly basis ensuring timely payments.

Additionally, the role requires monitoring cash flow and managing petty cash transactions. Preparing tax returns in accordance with UAE regulations and company policies is a crucial part of this job. The incumbent will also support both internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and ensuring adherence to accounting principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in Finance or Accountancy.
• Three to five years of experience working as an accountant in the UAE, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with UAE tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
