Key Responsibilities

The Management Accountant will be responsible for analyzing operational data and delivering insightful financial reports that aid strategic planning. Monitoring and controlling operational costs will be vital to improving overall profitability. The role includes detailed tracking of trading expenses, assessing product margins, and identifying areas where cost savings can be achieved.

Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, maintain ledger accuracy, and enhance the efficiency of general accounting processes. Ensuring compliance with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis standards is an essential part of this role.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in management accounting, preferably within trading or commercial sectors. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential to perform detailed financial operations and analysis.

A strong understanding of forecasting techniques, cost management, general ledger functions, and financial reporting practices is required. Candidates must also be knowledgeable about IFRS standards and have a clear grasp of UAE VAT and tax compliance requirements.
