Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Information Technology to join an international banking institution. The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience working within bank IT or software environments and will play a critical role in aligning technological solutions with the bank’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
The selected professional will collaborate with key stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain core banking software and systems. This includes the development, integration, and ongoing maintenance of multiple software programs and applications.
- Deploy and manage various software tools, applications, processes, and performance metrics
- Create and develop automated tests utilizing different automation tools
- Design, develop, and optimize database systems to ensure uninterrupted access for end users
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs efficiently
- Ensure smooth connectivity of all applications and systems through LAN and WAN networks
- Provide system support assistance for ATMs and related banking technology infrastructure
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software development, testing, deployment, and integration within the banking sector
- Strong understanding of coding, debugging, and testing procedures specific to banking software
- Proficient knowledge in networks, server management, SQL, Oracle databases, and XML development
