This opportunity is open for experienced professionals in the Food & Beverage sector based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The company operates burger restaurants and coffee cafés and is currently looking to fill two critical accounting positions: a Cost Controller specialized in the F&B industry and a General Accountant who is fluent in Arabic.

Cost Controller Responsibilities

The Cost Controller will play a key role in managing and optimizing food costs, controlling waste, and overseeing inventory management. Close collaboration with kitchen and purchasing teams is essential to maintain strict adherence to company cost standards. The roles include preparing detailed cost analysis reports to support management decisions, managing recipe costing and menu engineering initiatives.

General Accountant Key Duties

The General Accountant’s focus will be on daily accounting operations including managing payables and receivables, ensuring regular reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial statements. Effective communication of financial data to senior executives in Arabic is a critical aspect of this role. The accountant will also ensure all accounting practices comply with regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• For both roles, candidates must have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage sector.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory for both positions, with the General Accountant role requiring clear communication skills in Arabic to interact with top management.
• You must currently reside in Jeddah with a transferable Iqama preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and accounting systems is essential.
• Hands-on experience in preparing financial reports and cost analysis is critical for these positions.
