Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Appliances Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in commercial refrigeration systems and kitchen equipment, with proven abilities in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role requires hands-on skills to ensure smooth operation and reliability of various commercial appliances in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing commercial refrigeration units and kitchen appliances. Your tasks will include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and replacing defective components. You will also be expected to perform routine inspections to guarantee that all equipment functions safely and efficiently. Providing timely updates and technical reports to management, along with responding promptly to service requests, will be essential aspects of your job.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of practical experience in maintaining and repairing commercial appliances.
• Strong understanding of cooling systems such as chillers, freezers, refrigerators, ice makers, and compressors.
• Ability to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Hands-on familiarity with refrigerant systems, including gas charging and compressor troubleshooting.
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Solid problem-solving skills and effective communication capabilities.
• Ability to work independently under pressure while managing multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within environments like restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, or industrial kitchens is highly regarded. Candidates familiar with a wide range of commercial appliance brands and models, including ice machines, display chillers, bakery equipment, and stainless steel kitchen systems, will be given preference.
