A prominent construction firm in Bahrain is seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join their team. This role offers an excellent chance for individuals looking to advance their career in the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience in site supervision, project planning, and engineering documentation. The salary range offered is between 350 to 550 Bahraini Dinars.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Engineer will play a critical role in the smooth execution of construction projects with responsibilities including:

• Site Supervision and Execution: Managing daily site activities by coordinating with labor forces, subcontractors, and foremen to ensure work aligns precisely with architectural drawings and project timelines.
• Quality Control: Performing inspections on construction materials, such as concrete slump tests and verifying steel grades, to ensure they meet required structural and industry standards.
• Safety Compliance: Enforcing rigid health and safety practices on-site to maintain a safe working environment and minimize accidents.
• Project Planning and Estimation: Supporting senior engineers in material and labor cost estimation for upcoming projects, creating detailed site layouts and structural designs using software like AutoCAD or BIM, and assisting with tender document preparation.
• Surveying and Site Layout: Conducting topographical surveys, mapping out construction boundaries, and verifying foundation alignments and elevation levels according to design specifications.
• Documentation and Reporting: Preparing daily progress reports covering work completed, materials used, and equipment deployment. Also assisting with billing activities, including measurement book preparation and running account billing.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of construction site operations and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with construction quality control procedures and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, or similar design software.
• Strong attention to detail for surveying and layout accuracy.
• Ability to prepare technical documents and reports clearly and accurately.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with site teams and project managers.
